Worth the Fuss

Located enviably in a private spot on Kasturba Gandhi Marg just off Connaught Place, the joke avoids traffic snarls with a valet service, a must on high-density streets. Spread over two floors, the interior of the cave, nevertheless, is the front yard which gives the joke the value of all the noise. The stone flag in one corner dominated by one truck – rather, the truck of the Transformer franchise – and the other truck acting as a bar. A large loom on a tree yard and covered with constellations of fairy light, presents a gorgeous view at night. The interior is minimal, enclosed in stone and wood, with seating on the couch, a second huge bar and electronic music filling the whole space.

The menu is basically made up of a combination of contemporary Indian and Indian which nowadays is divided into small and large plates. It is complemented by the semi-cuisine of Delhi cuisine and secured with a large bar menu; The ubiquitous top list is odorously obvious.

We decide to cool off and go with the crowd, sticking to the fusion fare. So accordingly we start with calamari chaat salad and beer batter amritsari fish steak; And delicious joke tasty coins for bonus rounds in these hunger games. The coin, in fact, is mushroom galauti sandwiched in a crescent with yam or ole spiced galauti, it lends an external sharpness, delicious if you like your food a little stronger, which we do.

The salad is heavier than the sound because of the calamari crust. When sprinkled with lettuce, basil, olives, pickled onions, crispy potatoes, peppers and pickled cucumbers, all in a tamarind vinegar, the calamari can be bound to a low cake. It’s the fish that swims with dignity though – fresh, flaky souls are served with a spicy, crispy carmine batter, a lemon mint foam (another cream) that refreshes the mini steaks.

After a relatively healthy fare, we decided to go down with baked butter chicken pasta and roast gosht slider and have fun. The sliders are simple in presentation, even in mini buns, complicated by the delicious meat filling spice. Pasta is an adhesive mixture of soft pens mixed with gravy and butter chicken, a combination that is becoming increasingly popular nowadays, for obvious reasons. The dessert menu is rather limited at the moment, we decided to dive into it next time. It should be quite splash.
