The Paris Fashion Week Office serves nice French chic with the General Show

Models march in a straight line like the wind in a loose style, blowing the tail of a silk scarf in the wind and adding drama to the evening show.

“I think when you wear a pair of white jeans and a pair of sandals with a black sweater, you are probably closer to the French dream than we see,” designer Pierre Maheo told Reuters, describing his vision of fashion. . “You can’t have things all over the podium.”

Founded by Mahio a decade ago, the label is quietly building a loyal following and recently joined a wave of French brand store openings in the US, including Amy, which earlier this week held a show at the foot of the Sacre-Coeur Basilica.

Unlike blockbuster labels like Louis Vuitton and celebrity-bagged shows – which flew from Florida to perform at a marching band in the Louvre – Official General is a regular on the Paris Fashion Week calendar known for its more intimate crowds.

The men’s clothing show runs until June 26 in Paris, with Celine shutting down the events.
